Bean + Log is ecstatic to present to the public our exhibition “Ask To See My Hands”. This exhibition gives voice to expressions of spiritual healing, mourning, and fulfillment while celebrating newfound strength, resilience, and identity in the spiritual traditions that serve us.

“Ask to See My Hands” is a title open to interpretation as it can be answered in numerous ways — “ask to see my hands (to see what I carry),” “ask to see my hands (to see what I let go),” or “ask to see my hands (to see my offering).”

Spiritual belonging and connectedness are intrinsic human desires. When spiritual traditions negatively impact us, how do we hold its effects in ways that empower our spiritual journey and fulfillment? This exhibition invites you to bring what you hold in your spiritual hands, to give introspection to indoctrinated communal norms, challenge oppressive structures, and be safe in one’s own spiritual journey and relationship to truth.

Come and join us in this transformative experience, where we collectively explore the complexities of spirituality while celebrating healing, liberation, and the resilience of the human spirit.
