Sound Bowls In NYC

Sound Bowls in NYC came to fruition after a state of unrest, like many of my works I let them marinate and this took shape over 6 months. This initial piece being a woman sitting on a building devoid of color or shape. Just a sketch outline.
When revisiting the work six months later, I had since then added a sunset and a sound bowl in the subjects’ hands, The symbols remind me of my signature line work which is inspired of Malian Bogolafini.
Anyone who has also experienced levels of unrest in a large Metropolis can understand.
